Filmed in Germany in the large surface mine of North-Rhine Westphalia, a three screens installation is showing fumes colonizing the sky. The use of zoom to create a close-up generates a feeling that the arabesque will never end. Fascinating beauty of the development of those smokes could be linked with black ink dissolving in water. Unfortunately it becomes the air all living being breathe. An invisible death is reigning in the air. It points also to memories of satanic times, death being the central point of these fumes.
