It follows the mental [beam] of seeing and is conceived in such a way that the sea only is to be seen. Having lived in my youth in Normandy, I have often played in the abandonned blockhaus. I propose herewith a ‘détourné’ blockhaus, aimed to the enjoyment of the contemplation of the sea, detached by the protection of the building from other disturbing perceptual elements.”

« C’est un espace à réaliser sur n’importe quelle falaise. La hauteur de l’ouverture sur la vue est de 3 mètres. Le matériau est du béton. Les murs suivent le faisceau mental de l’acte de voir. Le lieu est conçu pour créer une sensation d’immersion visuelle dans la mer. Ayant vécu dans ma jeunesse en Normandie, j’ai souvent joué dans les blockhaus allemands à l’abandon. Je propose ici un blockhaus “détourné”, destiné au plaisir de la contemplation de la mer, détaché par la protection du bâtiment d’autres éléments perceptuels perturbants. »
